The Reset
Simple relief for hydration and one bothersome symptom.
Supportive hydration for clients experiencing gastrointestinal side effects while using GLP-1 medications. GLP-1 medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound are highly effective treatments for diabetes and obesity, but nausea, vomiting, reduced oral intake, and dehydration are common, particularly during dose escalation. This visit is designed to provide supportive hydration and symptom-directed treatment for appropriate patients after a medical evaluation. It is intended to help manage symptoms and support hydration; it does not replace adjustments to your GLP-1 medication plan or ongoing care from your prescribing clinician.

Symptom-Directed Medications
Ondansetron - For nausea or vomiting.

Important
Treatment is individualized after a medical assessment. Not every medication is appropriate for every client, and medications are used only when clinically indicated. Persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, inability to tolerate fluids, bloody vomiting, fainting, or symptoms concerning for pancreatitis, bowel obstruction, or other serious complications require emergency medical evaluation rather than IV hydration. Supportive measures such as slower dose escalation, eating smaller meals, avoiding high-fat meals, and maintaining oral hydration remain the primary strategies for managing GLP-1 gastrointestinal side effects.
