Supportive hydration for clients experiencing symptoms of a viral upper respiratory illness. The Bug combines IV hydration with symptom-directed medications and vitamin supplementation selected after a medical evaluation. Treatment is intended to support hydration and help manage symptoms such as nausea, poor oral intake, body aches, or dehydration while your body recovers. It is not a treatment for viral infections and is not a substitute for antiviral therapy or other recommended medical care.

Who Books This

  • Clients with cold- or flu-like symptoms who are having difficulty maintaining hydration

  • Clients experiencing nausea or reduced oral intake during an acute illness

  • Clients recovering from a recent viral illness who may benefit from hydration after provider evaluation

What's Included

Base Fluid: 1 L Normal Saline - IV hydration to help restore fluid balance in appropriate patients.

Vitamin Support

  • Infuvite - A two-vial multivitamin injection that rounds out your IV treatment.
Combines vitamins A, C, D, E, and the full B-complex, including B12, biotin, and folic acid.
Supports overall nutritional balance and energy metabolism.
Contains vitamin K, so it's screened against blood thinners like Warfarin before use.

Symptom-Directed Medications

  • Ondansetron - For nausea or vomiting.

  • Ketorolac - For short-term treatment of fever, body aches, or pain after screening for contraindications.

Important Treatment is individualized after a medical assessment. Not every medication or supplement is appropriate for every client, and medications are used only when clinically indicated. IV hydration and supportive medications do not treat or cure viral infections, and current evidence does not show that IV vitamin C shortens the duration of the common cold in otherwise healthy adults. Clients with high fever, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe dehydration, persistent vomiting, or other concerning symptoms may require a higher level of medical care.
